The exhibition Verk og Vit will be held from March 19–22, 2026, at the Sports and Exhibition Hall in Laugardalur. This will mark the seventh time the exhibition has been held, making Verk og Vit a well-established event for professionals and enthusiasts in the construction industry, planning, and infrastructure development. The exhibition will also celebrate a significant milestone, as it will be 20 years since the first event, which took place in spring 2006.
Verk og Vit aims to strengthen connections between industry professionals and raise public awareness of the activities, products, and services provided by those working in these fields. The event consistently draws high interest, with around 25,000 guests attending the most recent exhibition, a turnout similar to previous years. There has also been strong exhibitor interest, with the entire exhibition space selling out more than six months before the last event.
More than 100 exhibitors participated in Verk og Vit 2024, including, construction contractors, engineering firms, equipment rental companies, software companies, manufacturers, educational institutions, financial institutions, consulting firms and municipalities. A survey conducted by Zenter, a research firm, showed 100% of respondents were satisfied with the exhibition, and all participants reported that they achieved their goals by attending.
Alongside the exhibition, a conference and other events have been held, addressing topics related to the construction industry, urban planning, infrastructure development, and education from various perspectives.
